Sirajganj, Nov 22 (bdnews24.com) - At least four children were killed when soil caved in as they were playing on bank of river Karotoa in Sirajganj on Saturday afternoon.

Local people identified the victims as Arman, 8, son of Abul Kashem, Rafikul, 7, son of Abdul Mazed, Yasin Ali, 7, and Yamin, 8, son of Zainal Uddin of village Narina under Shazadpur Upazila.

They were buried under soil on the river bank while they were playing with mud, said villagers who later dug out their dead body from the spot.

Md. Motiar Rahman, the police officer-in-charge of Shahzadpur police station, confirmed the tragic accident.
